A note From the Founder
What HYMS & HYLS Means to Me
HYMS & HYLS Mentoring and Tutoring has been on my heart for over a decade, and I am finally walking in obedience to bring this vision to life. I am exhausted of watching the same young people cycle in and out of the juvenile detention system, often deprived of the access, exposure, and opportunities they deserve. I believe transformation will happen when we surround our youth with strong academic support, meaningful exposure to career pathways, and consistent long-term mentorship. This work requires a collective effort from schools, families, and the broader community committed to showing up for our children. HYMS & HYLS Mentoring and Tutoring exists to help transform how Dayton supports its youth by building a network that invests in their future and rallying our community to stand in the gap to ultimately change the trajectory of their lives.
